Hello Beginning Level II and up Students and Parents!

We are delighted to announce this year’s Winter Concert – “Adagio Ballet Celebrates the Orchestra”! This performance will include only Beginning II Levels and Up. In the spirit of the holidays, we would like to honor an important part of the history and essence of dance, which we often forget about. This year’s Winter Concert will celebrate the musical instruments of the orchestra, which have made dance as we know it today possible.

Adagio Ballet’s Winter Concert will take place on Sunday, December 18th at Kenmore Middle School at 2:00pm and 5:00pm. Each class will participate in one of the two Winter Concerts. Each show is expected to last around 1 hour and 15 minutes. There is no registration and No Dress Rehearsal for this event – all Students must attend regularly during the current Session in order to participate. Summer News! June 30, 2011

We are delighted that so many Students decided to keep on dancing in our Summer Session of regular classes, our Summer Camps, and our Intensive Workshops! We are so happy to provide our current and new Students with the opportunity to learn new things and keep their dance skills current, improve on technique learned throughout the school year, and to get ready for the Fall Session! Although many classes and camps are already full, there are still openings in both programs and it is not too late to register!

It is going to be a very busy Summer for us between camps and classes running Monday-Saturday, organization for the Fall, faculty meetings, and the build-out of our two new studios and in-house black box theater! However, we would love to see you over the Summer even if you are not enrolled for class or camp – please feel free to stop by and stock up on apparel for next year, register for the Fall, or just say hello!

Recital DVD and Photos: As promised, Adagio Ballet will provide a Free DVD to every performer’s family and a Free Picture to every performer. The May Recitals DVDs will be available in the next couple of weeks – we will send out an email announcement reminding you to come by the Arlington and Fairfax schools to pick it up. The May Recitals Photos will be uploaded on our media-ordering site, for which we will send you the link, password, and free picture coupon code – you will be able to conveniently order photos to your home. We expect the June Recitals DVDs and Photos to be available in the beginning of August.

In the meantime, please enjoy some sneak peaks from the performances of our wonderful Teachers, which took place at the end of each show. Congratulations again to all Performers for making every moment on stage special and memorable! To our Little Elves and Little Fairies Students – we can’t wait to see you dance on stage in the years to come!!
